On the way to Phillip Island, we stop at the small town of Tooradin for a journey break and also to see if we can find a few Pelicans.

We head to Maru Koala and Animal Wildlife Park where you can get close and personal with Koalas, hand feed the dozens of Kangaroos and Wallabies, see Wombats, Emus and of course, see many more Australian animals. We also have lunch here.

We then visit the Phillip Island Chocolate Factory for a guided tour – if you have a sweet tooth (who has not) this is the place for you. Everyone loves this stop. Be amazed at the works of art created with chocolate on exhibit in the Chocolate Art Gallery. Why not be an artist for a day – you can create something yourself.

We stop at Cowes seaside village, the heart and soul of Phillip Island. Have time to browse around before we go to the Nobbies.

We end the day at Summerland Beach. It has Victoria’s largest colony of Little Penguins. These Little Penguins are the smallest of all penguin species reaching only 33 cm in height when fully grown. At dusk hundreds arrive from their long day out at sea and make their way up the beach to the nesting area – this is of course the highlight of the whole day.

We cannot cover all the things we do during the day in words, so we have tour highlights listed below – just follow the red ticks.
